Jay and Chris, the founders and main teachers for Selah, first crossed paths in 2016 while studying Theology during their final year abroad. Both with backgrounds in missionary work and volunteering, they quickly bonded over their mutual love for God, the Bible, and helping others.

Driven by the desire to create a welcoming space where people from all walks of life could explore the richness of God's word, they teamed up with a shared vision. This vision came to fruition in 2019 when they founded Selah.

Outside of their commitment to teaching, Jay has a background in language education and tutoring, while Chris serves as a life coach and carer, working with underprivileged youth and individuals with disabilities.

Despite their demanding careers, Jay and Chris have remained committed to what they truly feel called to—spreading the Word of God to anyone eager to deepen their understanding of Scripture.

Even amidst the challenges, including the hurdles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, these two steadfast friends have worked tirelessly to offer this platform to the Melbourne community and are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to connect with everyone.
